Summit Financial Advisory Services
was founded by Amporn W. Leininger, an Independent
Financial and Investment Advisor.
Amporn Leininger has more
than 10 years of experience in the personal financial planning
industry. She provides comprehensive financial planning
specializing in college & financial aid and academic planning.
Her specialization in college and financial aid started in 2000
when her oldest son prepared for college and she realized that
many baby boomer parents need assistance in determining with the
most effective ways to finance their children’s college
education as well as funding their own retirement.
Prior to establishing her firm she gained her
financial expertise as a Senior Personal Financial Analyst at
Bank of America’s Executive Financial Counseling
Dept. in San Francisco. Following this as a Security Broker for
several San Francisco Bay Area brokerage firms, she furthered
her investment and portfolio management expertise.
Ms. Leininger earned her M.A. in
International Economics from the Monterey Institute of
International Studies, California, and earned her Certificate
(with distinction) in Personal Financial Planning from UC
Berkeley. She is a Series 65 (Registered Investment Advisor) and
Insurance licensee. In addition, she is a member of the National
Financial Aid Practitioners Alliance and CTEC (California Tax
Educational Council) Tax Preparer. To keep current with changes
in all areas of financial planning, Ms. Leininger has to
continuously maintaining her continuing education of her
profession and has a group of experts as mentors and resources.

John Leininger, is a
Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, a Certified POS
(Point-Of-Sales) Advisor and a Certified QuickBooks User.
Mr. Leininger has more than 20 years experience in the business
and technology industries. For the past several years he
has been consulting with small businesses providing bookkeeping
and systems solutions.
Prior to becoming a QuickBooks consultant he
had worked for Wells Fargo Bank as Systems Manager, Apple
Computer as Software Product/Project Manager, and William Mercer
as an Accountant.
He received his Masters in International Business Management
from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
After which he pursued continuing education in computer science,
accounting, business systems and business applications.
